Description

WhirlyBurly consists of three different teams in three different colors: Port Aero (Blue) Veto City (Orange) Wheatsville (Red) When playing the game alone, you'll control one of the teams while the 2 A.I.s you'll go up against control the others. The goal is to the highest amount of points to win by capturing spaces, chests, and opposing pieces. Capturing spaces gives you 1 point, opposing pieces gives you 3, and chests gives you 10.

Instructions

Page 1: WhirlyBurly is a 3 player game where each player tries to earn the most points by capturing spaces, chests, and opposing pieces. Each captured space is 1 point, each captured chest is 10 points, and each captured piece is 3 points. Each of the 3 teams is represented by a color - Blue, Orange, and Red. Each WhirlyBurly game lasts 9 rounds. The team with the most points after 9 rounds wins. Each player controls a team comprised of 3 pieces - Dwarven Hunters, Dwarven Scrappers, and Aerobot Chargers.

Page 2: When one of your pieces enters the space of an opposing piece, the opposing piece is either Bumped or Captured. Each piece has their own rule of bumping and capturing. Pieces that are captured or bumped off the field are returned to their starting space. Bumped pieces are pushed to another space.

Page 3: Dwarven Hunters capture Dwarven Scrappers. They bump other pieces one space away, move one space away, and then end their movement. Dwarven Scrappers capture Aerobot Chargers. They exchange places with pieces they bump into and continue their movement. Aerobot Chargers capture Dwarven Hunters. They bump other pieces two spaces away and stop their movement.

Page 4: Your hand consists of 5 cards that determine how your pieces move each turn. Select a card and then select a piece to play it on. Movement will begin after all teams have chosen their cards. By right clicking, you can discard 2 cards each round. If you play a card with a piece's symbol on it, the corresponding piece claims all of the surrounding spaces at the of their turn.

Page 5: On your turn, the order will depend on what piece you select. You can use the arrow buttons to reorder your pieces. The turn order changes each round. Look to the scoreboard to see the sequence for the current round. Example: Rounds 1, 4, and 7: Orange first, Red second, and Blue last. Rounds 2, 5 and 8: Red first, Blue second, and Orange last. Round 3, 6, and 9: Blue first, Orange second, and Red last. You have 30 seconds to cho the three cards. Once you have selected 3 cards, click the Ready button.

Page 6: Each team takes turns moving their pieces. When it's your turn, you may choose a path for each of your pieces based on Movement Cards you assigned them. Use the Left and Right Arrow buttons to rotate your piece's path. You have 12 seconds to choose a path. Click the Done button to select the path.
