If you want an easier fight, before you spill the last milk bottle go into the next room and fight the two potbellies that are in the room first and then go back to spill the milk bottle. Then you can face Spike without him having any minions. Also note that if you do fight Spike with the two potbelly that even if you solo him all three creatures will engage into battle with you. If you do not want to fight Spike the Crusher, do not spill the three milk bottles at all. All the times i went to big ben, i didn't spill any milk bottles and i didn't have to fight him
