Once you have an Account you will have to create a character. Merle Ambrose, the headmaster, will guide you through this.
You can either use the Book of Secrets which will ask you a series of multiple choice questions to determine which school of magic your character will belong to, or you can skip this and choose your school yourself. There are seven schools to choose from;
- School Of Storm
- School Of Fire
- School Of Ice
- School Of Death
- School Of Myth
- School Of Life
- School Of Balance
Choose wisely as most of your spells will come from your chosen school.
Choose whether you will be a Boy or a Girl
You then create the look your character will have;
- Face / Colour
- Hair / Colour
And the look of your starting outfit;
- Hat / Colour
- Robe / Colour
- Shoes / Colour
Lastly, you make your Player Name. You choose from a list of pre-made names for your First name, First part of your Last name, and Second Part of your Last name. Click here for more details about the player name.
Once you create your wizard, he or she will be placed in the waiting room, where you can decide which of your wizards you want to adventure with by clicking on them. Once you have selected your wizard, click PLAY and you will be transported to the magical world of The Spiral. You can have a maximum of six different wizards, to create a new wizard, push ‘New’ on the waiting room screen.
Next you will start Tutorial which is a basic quest which shows you How to Play. You can skip the tutorial if you want to.
