Bartleby, the Grandfather Tree, is the tree in the middle of Ravenwood. His sister, the Great Raven, gave him 2 eyes, one of which could see into the past, the other into the future. Recently, the Eye of History was stolen by the renegade Death professor Malistaire. Bartleby created the world via singing.
